The Teddy Bear 2's class is for anywhere from 28-36 months. During the course of the school year, these children will turn 3 and begin preparing for the 3 year old preschool classes. They begin sitting at the big tables in the cafeteria, drink out of milk cartons with straws instead of sippy cups, and they are strongly focusing on potty training. They are completing daily art, science, music, and Bible activities. They are learning to button and unbutton, complete specific physical movements, and practice their fine motor skills.
This class participates in outside and gym play times, weekly chapel services, and all of the fun activities we have planned throughout the year!
The ratio for this class is 1:8. There is 1 teacher with 8 children in this classroom daily.

Mrs. Jessica Hensley has worked with us at Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy Preschool since November of 2005. She works Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. She is able to be with her class for most of the day. She has her Child Development Associate degree and has 10 years experience working with children. She attends Woodland Christian Church and has a true passion for working with children this age. |
